The shell of the Challenger Carbon is crafted from our exclusive wide-weave carbon fiber, ensuring a lightweight yet robust structure capable of handling impacts and effectively dispersing energy for enhanced safety during rides.
LS2 craftsmen employ a combination of specially developed hand layups and state-of-the-art computer-controlled technology to construct the ultimate high-performance shell. Laser precision is used to cut all apertures in the shell with such exacting tolerances that the need for glue or dual-sided adhesives is eliminated. Every vent and gasket is installed with meticulous accuracy.
The eye port gasket on the Challenger utilizes LS2's proprietary double injection technology. This process bonds a thin, soft outer layer to a stronger inner material during injection, resulting in a superior seal at the face shield. Dual, fully adjustable intake ports at the top are perfectly matched with closable exhaust ports at the rear, working in tandem with our channeled EPS and flow separator spoiler to provide dynamic airflow. The adjustable chin vent, featuring dual ports, aids in keeping the shield free from fog while ensuring the rider remains cool and comfortable. Constructed from optically correct Class A polycarbonate, the Challenger is primed for any challenge.
The generously sized eye port allows riders to maintain a clear view of surrounding competitors, be they motorcycles or automobiles. Its extra height enables riders to tuck in comfortably while maintaining visibility further down the track, reducing strain on the neck. The high-performance, flat shield securely locks closed and can be effortlessly swapped out using our advanced quick-release system. To combat fogging in even the harshest conditions, the LS2 Challenger incorporates Pinlock Max technology, guaranteeing clear vision at all times. Meeting or surpassing DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.05 certifications, the Challenger ensures top-tier safety standards.
